Message from Chairperson
It is my firm belief that good education is a gift that has the power to transform and effect change which can last a lifetime, and sometimes more. This transformative potential inspires me every day and only strengthens my conviction with each step we take in our journey.
Today, as India stands on the threshold to greater advancement and economic prosperity it becomes imperative for us to provide unyielding opportunities to the younger generation, so as to fulfill this destiny. The talent, potential, and promise that I see in the faces of so many youngsters is remarkable and the unfortunate lack of opportunities must no longer be the barrier to their success.
The 21st century is already presenting new challenges to societies, governments, and organizations around the globe. I believe we need to come together and work closer than ever before to address many of these challenges and we need to approach them with a much more inclusive and broad based stance than what has worked for us in the past. Disciplines such as the sciences, humanities, engineering, art, law, medicine etc should not exist in silos, but must be presented holistically to these young minds for their learning and development. That is what the future will demand of these young men and women, and that is what we must equip them with.
Thus, the efforts of this Foundation are dedicated towards enabling meaningful change to transform the lives, futures, and aspirations of young men and women in India, especially those challenged by limited means. We are committed to the creation of a more equitable, meritocracy based society through education and art, by empowering individuals to bridge the socio-economic divide. And to this cause I dedicate my time and life's learning, and hope to build institutions of lasting value which educate and offer many young people the best chance at a successful future.
Education is, and will be the most powerful tool for individual and social change and we must do all that it takes to facilitate it.
